With her beauty, grace, and exquisite fashion taste, Heart Evangelista is one of today’s most sought-after fashion icons. As she travels a lot to attend different fashion weeks, wearing designer clothes, and rubbing shoulders with other celebrities and personalities, some people might have thought that she’s living the best life.
But for Heart Evangelista, the road to get where is today is not an easy one.
“I’m always in front of a lot of people. So I always had to pretend to be someone, I had to fill a mold, I had to be a certain way, so I will be saleable,” she said during the recently held Avon’s event last Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023 where she was launched as Eve’s Truth perfume’s ambassador. “It was like an onion that you have to peel layers and layers and layers before I actually started to really know who I really was.”
Eve’s Truth is a perfume created to inspire women to find and live their own truth, just like Heart. It is crafted by master perfumer Laurent Le Guernec and embodies an intense blend of floral fruity notes. A higher concentration of fragrance oils allows it to last up to eight hours. Refreshing pink freesias and a warm cedarwood heart come together to create an exclusive natural aura accord.
Meanwhile, Heart then shared that with all that she went through in her life, she’d learned to toughen up, love herself, and find the confidence she needs to live the life she wants.
“Twenty five billion tears along the way,” she said. “You’re surrounded with people that just don’t get it and you tried so hard for them. Sad to say, sometimes people are going to turn their back on you. People are going to leave you and you’ll be alone. You’re not going to know what to do and if you do not know what to do, boom, your survival instinct will just kick in and you will realize that you love yourself so much.”
From then on, she learned not to listen to all the voices around her, because she knows that at the end of the day, all she has is herself.
“I’m going to step forward and I’m gonna love myself,” Heart said. “I don’t care about what you say, I don’t care if I stand here alone. I have a good heart. I’m an honest person, so much love to give. And that’s where you get the confidence. Because it just develops. You can’t pick it up, you can’t buy it. You attain it, you earn it, and it grows eventually.”
