A cat, a car, or a shark coming out from the screen. Have you seen viral videos of large 3D advertisements from different parts of the globe such as New York Times Square and Shibuya Tokyo?
Fascinating, right? We no longer need to travel abroad to witness this, as BGC now has its own outdoor 3D-LED naked-eye screen digital billboard. Located at the 5th Avenue in One Bonifacio High Street, this giant screen is splashing with a span of over 400-square meters.
This screen also embodies the latest trend in graphic design and visual arts called Anamorphosis. Anamorphic illusion technology combines LED screen and distortion perspective art using advanced display technology and sharp pixels to provide that realistic, vivid feel.
In an interview with MB Life, Chief Operating Officer of Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation Alfie Reyes said that this outdoor screen will run video ads every day.
“This is the first of its kind, especially being in this outdoor setting,” he says. “It operates from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, and on weekends, we extend it by another hour to 11 p.m.”
The first set of advertisers include Disney, Netflix, and Globe.
