Just when we thought the story had ended, we found out that the plot had just thickened.

According to BBC’s report, Anna Delvey’s former friend Rachel Williams is suing Netflix for her portrayal in the hit show “Inventing Anna.”

“As a result of Netflix’s false portrayal of her as a vile and contemptible person, Williams was subjected to a torrent of online abuse, negative in-person interactions, and pejorative characterizations in podcasts, etc,” the legal action filed says. “Netflix gave fictional names to many of the real life protagonists in the Sorokin saga who appear in the Series, but it did not afford Williams the same protection.”

Meanwhile, another report says that she’s pursuing a jury trial and monetary damages from Netflix.

It can be recalled that Rachel was the one who published the viral essay in Vanity Fair and closed a book deal for the same story. She’s also the friend who used her credit card for their Morocco trip. Later on, Amex forgave the $62,000 bill.

And, just like that, the saga continues.
