Being in the entertainment industry for 20 years and counting, Bea Alonzo is one of the most sought after actresses of today. Wherever she goes, the public’s eyes are watching her.

But despite that, there are still things that we didn’t know about her behind the camera. And at the recently held Lazada 10.10 sale press event where she was also launched as the newest brand ambassador, the award-winning actress reveals three things about her that the public is not aware of.

  1. She dealt with cynophobia.

Bea reveals that because of a traumatic experience when she was a child, she developed a fear of dogs, or what we called cynophobia. “I had a dog phobia before,” she says. “I was trapped inside a dog’s house when I was six. Ever since then, I have been really scared of dogs na.”

The good thing is, she found Walter who also became her therapy dog and helped her heal. She’s now a loving furmom to this pup. “I’m no longer afraid of dogs,” she says.

  1. She’s a plantita.

“I take care of a lot of plants,” she says. It can come as no surprise especially for her fans as she owns a farm in Zambales.

  1. She’s clingy.

“I am clingy,” she says. “I’m not afraid to say and show it because I think life is short and if you love someone, you have to tell him or her, and you have to show it.”
