Disney still has a long list of fairy tale films that they can turn into live-action movies.
Speaking of which, Variety has reported that the said studio is set to make the adaptation for the Brothers Grimm story with “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” And what is Snow White without the princess hailed to be the “fairest of them all”?
For this titular role, 20-year-old American actress Rachel Zegler is the one who bagged it. Prior to this, Rachel makes her feature film debut as Maria in “West Side Story.” She’s also among the cast of “Shazam! Fury of the God.”
The young actress is ecstatic about the project and even says that she has a lot to catch with homegirl Snow White.
This new film will be directed by Marc Webb, the brilliant man behind “500 Days of Summer,” “Gifted,” and “The Amazing Spiderman” 1 and 2.
