The year 2020 has changed the way we live, but there’s one thing that remains the same—Mimiyuuuh still brings laughter and joy to all of us through her online content.

The internet sensation opened 2021 with a bang as she dropped a music video endorsement for Lazada with P-pop group SB19—a dream come for her. “Super thankful po ako sa Lazada na pinagkatiwalaan po nila ako kasi maski po ako walang tiwala sa sarili ko (I’m grateful to Lazada for entrusting me this project, because I don’t even believe in myself that I can pull this),” she tells MB Life. “And I’m super honored po to be working with Kathryn [Bernardo] and SB19, because I’m a super fan. Feeling ko po ako pinakamaswerteng fangirl! (I feel like I’m the luckiest fangirl).”

Now that she has already worked with two of her idols, Mimiyuuuh then reveals another artist she wants to feature in her vlog—none other than, the oppa, Lee Min Ho. “I also want to do a collab with an international artist,” she says. “Kung pwede po si Lee Min Ho, di ba? 24 hrs magjowa challenge (If will be given an opportunity, I want to work with Lee Min Ho. 24 hour boyfriend challenge).”

Aside from being a fashion icon and an internet sensation, the “Dalagang Filipina” viral artist is now a certified singer with her hit single “Drink your water bhie.” With numerous achievements under her belt, who’s the next artist she wants to do a music project with? “Hindi na po ako magiging choosy, keri na po ako with BLACK PINK! HAHAHHAHHHA! Sobrang fan po ako ng work nila and I SWEAR, if that happens po. UGH!!!!! xhnz! GANUN!!! (I won’t be picky, I’m good with Blank Pink),” she shares.

And as we all embark on a new journey this year, Mimi shares some lessons she had from what happened last year. “Life is short, so live in the moment! Also, may mga bagay po pala talaga na dapat hindi tinitake for granted (There are things we shouldn’t take for granted). Count your blessings and be grateful,” she says. “I pray that this pandemic will end soon and at the same time, more projects and more success for everyone.”
