Have you ever wondered how modern-day OPM songs would sound like if the release dates were back in the 1980s?

Well, wonder no more as a music arranger by the name Angelo Salud has reimagined “Pagtingin” by Ben&Ben into an ’80s hit.

Filled with synths, reverbs, and analogue drums, the single sounds like it’s from a completely different era of pop music.

Pablo Benjamin, one half of the Benjamin brothers leading the vocals for the band, approves the rendition.

“Galing,” he writes in a post where he shared Salud’s arrangement of their song.

As of writing, the 1980s-inspired cover has been shared over 10,000 times on Facebook, with more than 13,000 reactions.
