The highly-anticipated Japanese animated film, Weathering With You, is finally getting a screening date in local cinemas.

This movie is the new work of director Makoto Shinkai, the man behind the highest-grossing anime film of all time, “Your Name.”

SM Cinemas will be screening the new film in the country starting August 21, according to the website. There’s no information yet, though, if the movie will be screened in SM Cinemas nationwide or only in select theaters. It is also unclear how long the movie’s run will be in theaters.

Weathering With You revolves around high school freshman Hodaka Morishima, who leaves his home in an isolated island to move to Tokyo. Within days, he becomes broke. He eventually finds a job as a writer in a shady occult magazine, and ever since, it has been raining day after day.

Hodaka later meets a young girl Hina Amano in a corner of the crowded and busy city. Hina has the ability to stop the rain and clear the sky.
