Spider-Man: Far From Home was an awesome movie, but there was one missing piece that didn’t feel right, something – or rather someone – we’ve been looking for in every Marvel movie ever made, Stan Lee’s cameo.
Marvel comics co-creator Stan Lee passed away in November last year, and was only able to shoot his last cameos for 2019’s Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. Marvel films, MCU or not, may not be the same without a cameo by Stan the Man, but we may get the next best thing – a street named after Stan Lee!

That’s right, the New York City Council has approved a proposal to co-name University Avenue in the Bronx area “Stan Lee Way”; Stan attended high school in the Bronx back in the day.
New York is also a very prominent location for Marvel heroes, home to the likes of Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, and many more of Stan Lee’s creations.
It’s only a matter of time before local comic artists like Mars Ravelo and Tony Velasquez get their own streets too, what do you think?
