It seem likes more and more former “Promil Kid” prodigies are carving their names in the art industry. This coming July 26, “gifted” children Shaira Luna and CJ de Silva are joining “Ugnay Kapuso sa Sining ni Al Perez” art show that will be mounted at SM Megamall.

Back in 1995, Luna was featured in the infant formula milk’s ad. But instead of pursuing a career in medical field as expected of her, Luna is now one of the most respected lifestyle photographers in the country. Some of the celebrities she had photoshoot with are Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd and local stars such as Kathryn Bernardo and Iza Calzado.

On the other hand, de Silva has been featured in Promil ad in 1998 where it showed her exemplary gift as a young painter. De Silva follows this path as she is now working as an art director, a painter, and a graphic designer.

Wonder Woman (2017) Directed by Patty Jenkins . The No Man's Land is the sequence I loved the most. Diana wanted to save the people trapped in the war zone but Steve kept saying "no", explaining why the place was called No Man's land in the first place. Diana, the woman that she is, braved it out. She took all the fire so the others can move forward. And Steve fought beside her. It was touching, empowering, inspiring. . I cried, the same way I cried in the other fight scenes. Let us never forget how Antiope kicked ass!!! . It's incredible, almost unbelievable, how Wonder Woman redefined what it is to be a superhero. No more dark and brooding antiheroes! Gal Gadot wonderfully played the role with convincing optimism, charisma, passion and physicality. Chris Pine also was a great leading man. He's almost always stunned by Diana's beauty but he was never intimidated by her strength and power. He would always be there to help her. He saves the day while Diana saves the world. . Wonder Woman may not be the perfect movie (I felt the villains were underwritten) but I believe it is a significant movie. Finally, there's a superhero movie with a female lead that's not hypersexualised and has genuine understanding of the woman's psyche. . . . . . #WonderWoman #Art #illustration #DC #WonderWomanFilm #GalGadot #PattyJenkins #ChrisPine
