At 5pm on October 14, City of Dreams Manila is set to open The Garage, their VR zone and food park in one. What was once a parking lot near Dream Play is now a 2,714-square space that can seat almost 600 people.
Half of The Garage is casual dining #goalz bes, featuring restos such as Pink’s, Hokkaido
Ramen Santouka, El Chupacabra, Little Flour, Katsu Sora, Pizza Grigliata, and Farmacy. (Panalo ang curation, TBH.) Thirst quenchers are courtesy of Juiced and The Roaster, while Chocol8 has truffles of a different shapes and cuts enhanced with fruits, nuts, and spices.
The VR half of the space was developed in partnership with Bandai. It’s Bandai, mumsh! Sila yung gumawa ng games like Galaga, Power Rangers, at kung ano-ano pang kinalolokohan ng mga tito at tita mo ng bata pa sila. This is the first time they’ve developed something for Southeast Asia. For The Garage, they’ve come up with three games: Ski Rodeo, which is a steep downhill simulator; Mario Kart Arcade GP, which, come on, everyone knows what Mario Kart is; and Hospital Escape Terror, the description we will leave up to your Valak and Killer Clown-induced imagination.

Single player ticket prices for the games are at P450, while packages are available for pairs and groups. After October 14, The Garage will open daily from 10am to 2am. For more information, call 800-8080, or visit cityofdreamsmanila.com
