Some customers of Maynilad Water Services Inc. in Metro Manila and certain parts of Cavite will experience water service interruption on June 11 to June 12.

According to Maynilad, they will be conducting maintenance work inside its water treatment plant in Quezon City. It will reinstall a rapid mixer in La Mesa Treatment Plant 1 that it pulled out for repairs in April 2019. Rapid mixer is an essential tool in the facility’s treatment process.

In its advisory, the water service firm said that the maintenance will cause low pressure to no water supply in some areas. Check out the list of affected areas and water supply interruption schedules below:

Maynilad also asked their affected customers to store enough water three days before the scheduled interruption.

“We encourage our affected customers to store water at least three days before the interruption to prevent simultaneous heavy withdrawals of water from our pipelines, which can reduce water pressure and cause some customers to have no water earlier than schedule. Meanwhile, we have water tankers on standby, ready to deliver water to affected areas as needed,” Maynilad said in a Facebook post.
