One of Thailand’s biggest stars, Urassaya Sperbund, also known as Yaya, is set to visit the Philippines this coming June 13 to 15, 2019.
The 26-year-old actress is a global ambassador of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and on her visit here, she’s set to meet her Pinoy fans and LGBTQ advocates. This is part of her advocacy to promote the “Land of Smiles” among Filipinos.
While in the country, Yaya will also grace the runway to showcase the best of Thai fashion and culture – along with select local celebrities and models such as Bibininng Pilipinas Miss Universe 2016 Maxine Medina, Pinoy Big Brother former housemate Hideo Muraoka, and Tim Yap.
This will happen in an exclusive gala where dignitaries, media, partners, and LGBTQ advocates, are expected to attend. The highly anticipated fashion event will be on Friday, June 14 in Makati.
Meanwhile, fans will also get a chance to meet TAT’s ambassador in a mall show on Saturday, June 15, at the Ayala Mall Circuit in Makati City.
Aside from playing as Princess Alice in the Thai TV series – “The Crown Princess” which currently airs on GMA 7, Yaya also starred at the Thai Rom-Com, “Brother of the Year” which premiered in Philippine cinemas last September 2018.
This is not the first time TAT has brought Thai celebrities in the country. In 2016, they presented heartthrob – Mario Mauer.
