A social media post from online shopping giant, Shopee, is sending K-Pop fans into a frenzy. It seems to suggest that girl group phenom, Blackpink, is coming back to the country for an event.

Found on Shopee’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, the post shows a picture similar to the cover of the group’s 2016 debut album called Square One. The caption says, “We know you missed them,” along with the date, June 6, 2019.

The photo, however, is in the site’s orange color instead of black and pink.

On Twitter, Shopee tweets a line from Blackpink’s latest hit single, “Kill This Love.”

“Lucky me, lucky you…” the tweet says.

Another tweet asks followers if they are ready for a revolution and many of them has responded yes.

The powerhouse quartet from South Korea—composed of Jennie, Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo—are famous for including the tag line, “Blackpink is the revolution,” in their songs.

It’s also worth noting that the group is an official ambassador of Shopee. In fact, the group has performed in Indonesia for the shopping giant back in November 2018 for the 12.12 Birthday Sale.

Fans are quick to catch on with the clues and teasers. Some has even offered theories on what’s likely to happen.

“Fan meeting?” one netizen asks.

Meanwhile, others are pleading for confirmation whether the group is coming to the country or not.

“We need more details,” another fan tweets.

As of writing, Shopee has not released an official statement confirming or denying the speculation.

Formed in 2016 by YG Entertainment, Blackpink is the act behind the hits “Boombayah,” “Playing With Fire,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “Ddu-du Ddu-du,” and “Kill This Love.” The group, who visited Manila back in February for a one-night concert, has recently wrapped up the US leg of their world tour, including a history-making appearance at the prestigious Coachella Music Festival.
