In 2018, No Rome released his song featuring Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975. Now, the Filipino artist made his Coachella debut when The 1975 brought him on stage during their set on Friday, April 12.

No Rome, AKA Rome Gomez, performed his single “Narcissist” with the English rock band. The song is included in his EP entitled RIP Indo Hisashi, which was co-produced by The 1975’s Healy and Daniel.

In a video posted on Twitter, we can see No Rome enjoying the performance while dancing with Matty Healy.

Fans also expressed their happiness on Twitter about No Rome’s Coachella debut. A Twitter user said: “Grabe guys dati sa Route 196 at saGuijo lang nagpe-perform si No Rome and today nasa Coachella stage sya with The 1975. Don’t ever let go of your passion and always be patient lang guys.”

Another netizen also praised The 1975 for supporting No Rome and sharing the opportunity to perform at the music festival.

“Nothing… NOTHING makes me happier than seeing The 1975 bring No Rome up to perform “Narcissist” at Coachella. It’s one thing to say you support emerging artists, it’s another to let them share such a huge opportunity. We need more of this.”

No Rome is currently touring with the band to promote their latest album, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships. He will be the opening act when the band performs in Manila in September 2019.
