Irish writer Cecilia Ahern has announced that she has written a sequel to her international-bestselling book “P.S. I Love You.”

On her Twitter account, Ahern shared the good news. “I have BIG NEWS!” she wrote. “I’ve written the sequel to PS I LOVE YOU – titled POSTSCRIPT. POSTSCRIPT will be published September 19th in the UK & Ireland. I hope you’ll welcome back Holly… & Gerry…& that reading it will be as emotional for you as it was for me”.

“P.S. I Love You” that was first published in 2004 follows the story of husband and wife Holly and Gerry. A tragedy struck them when Gerry dies due to brain tumour. Eventually, Holly discovered that Gerry left 10 letters for her, each one signed off in “P.S. I Love You.”

This book captured the hearts of millions of people across the world, recording 25 million copies sold worldwide in over 40 countries, and translated in 30 languages. In 2007, the tearjerker novel was turned into a film starred by Hillary Swank and Gerald Butler.

“Postcript” will be available on September in UK and Ireland, hopefully we can all have the copy of international edition sooner.
