In case you’re not aware, aside from marking the start of the summer season, we’re also celebrating Women’s Month this March. The National Women’s Month Celebration every March is part of the worldwide observance of the International Women’s Day (IWD). It’s that time of the year where we get to celebrate inspiring and empowering women of all backgrounds, ages, and interests.
In case you’re looking for ways on how you can celebrate this important month for women, we’ve come up with this list of things that you can do to pamper yourself. Happy Women’s Month!
1. Experience new things
One of the best ways to pamper yourself is to learn new things. Whether you want to try playing video games or want to learn how to cook a certain dish, stepping out of your comfort zone every once in a while is a nice thing to do. There’s an upcoming workshop for filmmaking, creative writing class and other activities that you might want to check out this month. Choose one that is suited to your preference and do not hesitate to join.
2. Go to a spa
It’s only the third month of the year but we’re pretty sure that you’ve done a lot of things at work or school. That’s why you deserve all the time in the world to de-stress. There’s a lot of spa in the metro that offers a selection of full-body massages that can boost your mood. You can try hot stone massage, sauna, or body treatments like exfoliation, wraps and packs.
3. Hang out with your girlfriends
Celebrating Women’s Month with your girlfriends is much better than celebrating it alone. Invite them to a lunch or dinner date at a new restaurant and talk about your favorite moments together. You can also invite them to Intramuros on the International Women’s Day this Friday, March 8 and check out historical places for free. It doesn’t have to be super fancy as long as you’re with your beloved friends.
4. Give yourself a makeover
Tired of your usual look? Why not try something new? Go wild with your makeup and use bold colors even just for a day. Don’t be afraid to use that red lipstick that you want to use ever since. 5. Treat yourself
