From the Close Friends list up to the walkie-talkie voice messaging function, Instagram has introduced a lot of helpful features in 2018. And it looks like they’re starting 2019 with a bang by introducing a new feature that will allow users to share posts from other accounts.
According to TechCrunch, an Instagram spokesperson has confirmed that iPhone users will be able to share the same posts to multiple accounts at the same time.
“We are rolling out this feature to provide a better experience for people who often post to multiple accounts,” it wrote.
The so-called “self regram” will help a lot of business owners, social media influencers, vloggers, or even regular users who have multiple accounts. With this feature, sharing promotional content will become easier. No need to reupload the same photos or videos to your other account.
Once you select a photo to share on your feed, you’ll find the “Post to Other Accounts” in the options tag. It has toggle switches for syndicating the post to your other accounts. Easy, right?
As of writing, Instagram has not released any official announcement about the regram feature. But for now, it looks like that the option will only be available for iOS users.
