This is not a drill, Arianators! Ariana Grande finally announced the release date of her first single for 2019.

Grande posted the release date and the cover art for her song entitled “7 Rings” on her social media accounts on Friday, January 11. She captioned the image with seven ring emojis and the date: “1.18.”

According to Ari, the song is about the time when she and her bestfriends got drunk at Tiffany’s and bought matching engagement rings.

“well …………. ‘twas a pretty rough day in nyc. my friends took me to tiffany’s. we had too much champagne. i bought us all rings.  it was very insane and funny. & on the way back to the stu njomza was like ‘bitch, this gotta be a song lol’. so we wrote it that afternoon,” Grande wrote.

Ari also noted that it’s a total of nine rings because she also bought two for her mother and nonna (grandmother) after the song was done.

Last December, YouTube confirmed that Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” officially broke the all-time record for the most views in the first 24 hours of release. As of writing, the MV already has 245 million plays on YouTube.

“7 Rings” will be out next Friday, January 18.
