Kris Aquino sent her apologies to top ABS-CBN officials, Wednesday, January 9, for being dragged into her issue with former project manager, Nicko Falcis.
In a Facebook post, Aquino said that “WAG IDAMAY ang ABS-CBN” and “Wag ilihis ang issue.”
Although she didn’t mention a name to whom she’s referring to, it can be remembered that Falcis had an interview with PEP, where he revealed that the conflict between them started when he gave press materials to one of ABS-CBN’s affiliated websites on Aquino’s appearance on the Hollywood premier of “Crazy Rich Asians.”
“I can admit to heartbreak that it ended not in the way I wished with ABS,” Aquino said. “But did ABS-CBN ever steal money from me? I am HONEST enough- I earned much, hundreds of millions in my years with ABS-CBN.”
She also noted that Geny Lopez and her father Ninoy Aquino were both imprisoned during the Martial Law. “Kung ano man ang mga issues of misunderstanding, Tito Manolo and Tita Martinez Lopez loved mom… I said this and I stand by it— when someone did good for my mom, (in this case— SOBRANG LOVE & RESPECT and binigay ni Tito Manolo and Tita Maritess to Mom). I’ll stop my worst impulses— because of my mom and her memory.”
She then said her apologies to ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez and to the company’s president and CEO Carlo Katigbak. “You deserve me to stand up and give you the high esteem you rightfully deserve,” she ended.
