After opening her first Korean barbecue restaurant, Kris Bernal has launched her own makeup line called SHE Cosmetics.
On December 13, the Kapuso actress finally unveiled her new passion project in an Instagram post.
“I’m so glad to finally share with you guys my passion project, @SHECosmeticsPH. It’s been a long road and I’m so happy that I am almost at the finish line and you can soon get your hands on these beautiful products that I personally made from scratch. No brand partners, no financers, just me! It’s the biggest challenge I ever encountered but all the hard work is finally paying off,” she wrote.
The 29-year-old actress has been working closely with Momo Letter LTD, a company based in Korea, in creating the products under the brand.
The first line of liquid cushion lipsticks comes in 5 shades: SHE’s on Fire, a ruby red color perfect for day to night; So SHE-ic, a cinnamon brown color if you love darker shades; Go Girl, bright fuchsia lippie that will give a pop of color to your look; SHE lovin’ it, a flamingo pink that is along the lines of nude shades and; Off SHE goes, the kind of coral pink shade that complements every skin tone.
According to its website, the liquid cushion lipsticks has “rose hip oil that gives healing power to damaged skin and helps with skin elasticity; Bulgarian Rose which acts as an antioxidant; Camellia Oil to help moisturize the lips and give it a subtle shine and; Peppermint Oil that gives a cool feeling to your lips and naturally plump your lips.”
It also has a “diamond applicator” that is designed to easily glide the products to the lips. Since it’s bigger than the usual lipstick applicator, “it can hold enough product to avoid re-dipping.”
