There’s another reason to be jolly this holiday season, Netflix fans. One of this year’s remarkable film Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral will be available on the streaming site starting January 2019.
The online streaming giant announced the they will carry the film featuring Gregorio “Goyo” del Pilar on Wednesday, December 26. It will be available for streaming starting January 26, 2019 and will be known as Goyo: The Boy General for its international release.
Sequel to the 2015 box office hit Heneral Luna, Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral follows Gregorio del Pilar, one of the youngest generals during the Philippine Revolution. It stars Paulo Avelino as Goyo, Epy Quizon as Apolinario Mabini, Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo, Benjamin Alves as Manuel L. Quezon, Carlo Aquino as Colonel Vicente Enriquez, Arron Villaflor as Joven Hernandez, Gwen Zamora as Remedios Nable Jose, and many more.
Jerrold Tarog’s Heneral Luna and Birdshot are also available for streaming on Netflix alongside other critically acclaimed Filipino films like Erik Matti’s Buy Bust and Sigrid Bernardo’s Kita Kita.
