International Science Center and Science Museum Day
Started in 2016, the International Science Center and Science Museum Day is a worldwide celebration where museums and science centers all over the world organize activities and events. The Mind Museum has not yet revealed their lineup of activities for this year but we’re pretty sure that it’s filled with educational activities for your whole fam. November 10, 10am-5pm. Art Market 2018
Art Market 2018 is a year-long event that promotes different art products made in the Philippines. This is Art in Island’s way to help young and local artists showcase artsy and handmade goods. Jessica Sanchez Live with Martin Nievera
Jessica Sanchez will be back in Manila to perform in a one-night-only concert at The Theatre at Solaire. The former American Idol runner-up will serenade us alongside Martin Nievera. Sanchez rose to fame for her rendition of the hit songs “I Will Always Love You,” “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going,” and “I Have Nothing.” November 10, 8pm-10pm. IKON 2018 Continue Tour in Manila
Attention, iKONics! iKON is finally coming to the Philippines! Members B.I., Bobby, Jinhwan, Ju-ne, Chanwoo, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk will perform their hit tracks, “Return,” “Welcome Back,” and more. The group won the Best New Artist at the 2016 Japan Golden Disc Award and the Album of the Year award at QQ Music Awards in the same year for their Welcome Back album. November 11, 7pm-10pm. QC International Pink Film Festival 2018
After a 2-year hiatus, the QC International Pink Film Festival is back. The festival will showcase international and local LGBTQ+ films. There will be seminars on the issues of LGBTQ+ community primarily on health and human rights during the screenings. November 14 to 25. Gateway Cineplex, Gateway Mall Cubao, Quezon City. Now on its 14th year, Komikon continues to showcase the works of Filipino comics artists. It gives every aspiring comic artists to promote their works to the public. Attendees can get tickets to the event at Comic Odyssey branches and can also be bought on the day of the event itself. November 17 to 18, 10am-7pm. Bayanihan Center, 8008 Pioneer St., Mandaluyong. Komura; Studio is an intimate conference for storytellers featuring respected creatives in the tech, print, literature, and publishing industry. Speakers will talk about their “experiences and solutions to struggles on sustaining independent, creative pursuits without compromising the quality of content.” November 24, 2pm-11:30pm.
