And if you’re having a hard time looking for a good ballet show, Ballet Manila and Ballet Philippines gotchu, friend.
After opening their 23rd performance season in September, Ballet Manila giving us three more shows to check out. Le Corsaire (The Pirate) is a good start if this is your first time watching a live ballet performance. May pa-prince charming effect yung pirate dito!
Lisa Macuja-Elizalde is also back with Cinderella in November and December. Those who have missed this show for the first time, this is your chance to watch mumshie Liza and other awesome performers.
The 23rd performance season will end with the most special and newest show, Deux. Ballet and The Beatles in one ‘to, ’te. Bongga, ‘di ba?
Ballet Philippines on the other hand is preparing for their upcoming show this October entitled Carmen and Other Dances. It tells the story of passion, fate, seduction and obsession. Parang this show will make us realize that there is a little bit of Carmen in all of us, ‘di ba?
