ICYMI, Jenny Han’s best-selling book To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (TATBILB) is now a hit Netflix original film. After its online release on August 17, people started posting sweet photos of Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). We can’t blame them because the film is worth the hype. If you’re already curious about TATBILB, here are reasons why you should watch it ASAP:
1. It’s kilig overload.
Reading the plot of the film will let you think that the movie is corny and very bagets. Medyo true naman sa bagets na part, but bes, this film is something. We can’t handle Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky’s cuteness as a couple. Nakaka-highschool!
2. It’s nostalgic.
Seeing Lara Jean writing letters to her crushes, kahit na sinusulat niya lang naman yun just to vent out her feelings is all of us. Gurl, I know we can all relate especially with the hiding part. Aww, memories.
3. The music.
TATBILB features songs such as Wild Nothing’s “Chinatown,” Twinsmith’s “You & I,” Lauv’s “I Like Me Better,” and many more. These songs will help you appreciate the film more and make you say “Hayy, ang sarap ma-in love.”
4. Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky
No need to explain this part. Just look at how precious Noah Centineo is. We’re so #blessedt.
5. A sequel is most likely to happen.
The film is from a trilogy by Jenny Han, so a sequel is most likely to happen. And with all the hype, grab the chance na, Netflix. Everyone’s waiting for the continuation of Lara Jean and Peter’s love story.
