We visit TV and internet celebrities’ social media accounts for a lot of things: style inspiration, product recommendations, food, and of course, beauty tips. Most of the time, our idol’s Instagram account is like our guide on what makeup products to wear daily or for special occasions. Luckily, some them have collaborated with makeup brands to give us something to hoard. Here are five local and international Pinoy stars that released their own makeup collections this year:
1. Kris Aquino
Aside from serving us some tea and throwing shade (ehem), the Queen of All Media is undeniably a style inspiration. I mean, who wouldn’t want to copy her bonggang outfits and makeup game, ‘di ba? That’s why everybody rejoiced when Kris unveiled her beauty kit in collaboration with Ever Bilena. The makeup line includes a Matte Brow Liner and Brow Mascara, and Matte Matic Lipsticks. These products will surely help you achieve your #kilaygoals and smooch-ready lips.
Our fave products from the collection: Kris Matte Brow Liner and Brow Mascara in Taupe (P275), Kris Matte Matic Lipstick in Love (P245)
2. Nadine Lustre
After releasing her own fragrance line last year, Nadine Lustre launched a makeup collab in partnership with Australian brand BYS. The collection consists of 12 limited edition products (bronzer and highlight palette, eyeshadow palette, brow liner, brow gel, eyeliners, mascara, and lip and cheek tint) that can help you recreate Nadine Lustre’s dyosa look. It’s like we’re back in the 2000s with the shimmery eyeshadows and colorful liners. Pero sabi nga ni mumsh, “Come on guys, it’s 2018” let’s play with some glitters and colors!
Our fave products from the collection: Bronzer and Highlight Palette (P1,499), Eyeshadow palette in Calypso (P799)
3. The Kings
One of our favorite couples are already a style icon, so it makes perfect sense for them to have their own beauty line. What else makes perfect sense? Launching the collection during Pride Month, and imbibing the idea of duality into the line. Local cult brand Colourette collaborated with the dynamic duo to create eight Dualitints, which have cutesy names like Resting Beach Face (Mumsh, Natawa ako promise), and Love and Life. Also in the collection: a Face Gloss, which has argan oil and, get this, beer yeast in it. San ka pa, di ba?
Our favorite product from the collection: Dualitint #3 in Racewife and Superchargeed (P499)
4. Bretman Rock
While there are tons of beauty vloggers giving us new makeup tricks, nobody does it the way Bretman Rock does. Like his makeup, his video tutorials are always on point. His name is almost like the synonym of the term “highlight.” Glowy AF! Lucky for us, Morphe Brushes released a Babe in Paradise highlighting palette ($29 or P1,500+) with the Ilocano YouTube star. The palette features six large pans of highlighter in white, sand, golden, rose gold, peach, and bronze shades. There’s also a shade called Behbeh Girl. Like forrealz.
Our fave shades from the palette: Behbeh Girl, Get Lei’d
Patrick Starrr has been known for being a makeup artist for big Hollywood celebs and his helpful beauty tips. The Pinoy beauty guru just dropped a new summer collection that’s giving us some inspiration to create some steaming hot look. The Diva Feva kit is his third collection with MAC Cosmetics. The Summer Starrr Kit ($49.50 or P2,600+) consists of 1 bronzer, 1 eyeshadow palette, and 2 lipgloss. You can also check out the Parick Starrr Opalescent Highlighting Face Powder ($34 or P1,800+) and copy one of his #snatchedt look on YouTube. It’s currently sold out online, pero ano ba naman yung maghintay ‘di ba? Sanay naman tayo dun.
